With 10 days to the 2018 Zimbabwean elections, I set to talk to young people about the significance of these elections to them. For a lot of young people, Robert Mugabe is the only leader they have ever know as he has been in power since independence in 1980. At 94, Robert Mugabe was removed in a military action in November 2017 and his longtime ally Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa took over becoming the third Zimbabwean president. The credibility of the elections has been questioned by some Zimbabwe citizens and the international community.
