This weekend found myself going off to Biri Dam for fishing with friends. I was so tired from working to the time up to and during Christmas, Boxing Day and even dosed off a little on the boat. I did catch some decent sized bass, but my friends definitely got more. This place has a lot of birdlife, crocodiles and I also spotted wild game. The highlight of this was my encounter with Hungwe ( Fish Eagle) which happens to be my totem as well. I posted a photo of this on my Instagram Its amazing that a place so little known off (my first time there) can be so relaxing & have great views, but I guess that is what you can expect with places around Zimbabwe!
